Freeman lake Park is the largest City Park in Elizabethtown. Featuring a 170 acre lake, 7 miles of trails and several historic structures.
Elizabethtown’s Freeman Lake Park is home to three historical structures. There’s the Lincoln Heritage House: a double log house crafted in part by Abraham Lincoln’s father, Thomas Lincoln. Several other structures include a school house built in 1892. While fishing and boating is the main attraction there are many trails, and a tennis, volleyball and golf course.
